TPS safety mats
Proswitch TPS type pressure sensitive safety mats are devices that must guard the floor area around dangerous machinery. They are made of two PVC layer and ribbon switches between them. When an actuating force (<30Kg) is applied anywhere in the active surface of the mat, the ribbon switch closes, which, in turn, causes a signal to be sent to the control unit to shut down the machine.
General description
The floor or mounting surface for the TPS type pressure sensitive safety edge must be flat, smooth and rigid. Undulations, protrusions, gaps or other irregularities could compromise the proper functioning and reliability of the safety mats. TPS type pressure sensitive safety edges are available in rectangular standard sizes and also in specially cut shapes.

TPS type pressure sensitive safety edge without aluminum frame are generally installed on areas suited to avoid movement.

TPS type pressure sensitive safety edge with aluminum frame are installed using black fixing corners or doing specific holes along the frame.
