General description of ribbon switches

Proswitch ribbon switches are pressure sensitive devices that can be used for safety based and control based applications.

Available lengths and colors

Proswitch ribbon switches can be supplied both packed with their related wires, ready to install, or autonomously by selecting a specific length, up to 250 meters. In such case, the client shall link the related wires. Their standard color is yellow (RAL 1018) but, on request, they can be provided with different colors.

S-30 type

S-30 type ribbon switch is housed inside each Proswitch sensing edge. It is the most compact version of Proswitch pressure sensitive ribbon switches, with N.O. contact. It can be supplied packed with the related wires or autonomously in coils up to 250 meters.

S-33 type

S-33 type ribbon switch has the same features of the S-30 type, except for the conductors that are inside the external PVC cover, in order to avoid the presence of external return cable. They can be used both for safety based or control based applications. They can be supplied packed with the related wires or autonomously in coils up to 250 meters.
