Safety edge PS-100 type

PS-100 type is the narrowest section among Proswitch products. The small profile ensures the installation where space is restricted, and does not entail any change to the machine design.

General description

PS-100 type is a pressure sensitive safety edge designed to to be durable and with a relayable performance. The ribbon switch is sealed inside the edge housing, ensuring protection against external liquid and solid agents. On request, it is possible to meet the IP65 protection rate.

Applications

Automatically operated gates

Automated machines with gates or doors could pose a crushing hazard for personnel. Pressure sensitive safety edges must be installed to safeguard such potentially dangerous points.PS 100 type is recommended

Automatic sliding doors

Pressure sensitive safety edges must be installed on automatic sliding doors that could pose a crushing hazard, in order to protect personnel from injuries.PS 200 type is recommended

Automatically operated windows or gates

Pressure sensitive safety edges must be installed on hazard points that could pose a crushing hazard, in order to protect personnel from injuries.PS 300 type is recommended

AGV
